Kingdom of the Frosty Mountains - an enchanting new series for young girls from Egmont

Dear Friend,

Welcome to the kingdom of the Frosty Mountains! Inside a frosted perfume bottle is a beautiful, magical country ringed with mountains. The City of Silverberg is in the centre and in this city is the Royal Palace. Within the marble walls of the Palace, you can find the Kingdom's famous Royal Ballet School. This is where the most talented young ballerinas in the land become Ballerinas-in-Training. Of course, they all bring their animal companions. And these animals can talk - just like you and me. Sadly, this perfume bottle is lost, but the stories from the Kingdom live on. I would like to share the stories of five Ballerinas-in-Training with you: friendly Jessica, graceful Crystal, loyal Laura-Bella, lively Valentina and shy Ursula. Five friends who, with their pets, are in their first year at the Royal Ballet School - along with the nasty Rubellina. There are classes to attend, auditions to perform and secrets to be uncovered. The girls will learn many things: how to be good friends, not to trust Sinbad the donkey near food, and some of them will learn how to ride an Icicle Bicycle! So, pile your plates high with Raspberry Flancakes (making sure there are no greedy donkeys lurking nearby), and plunge into the first magical tale from the Kingdom of the Frosty Mountains.

Yours truly,

Emerald Everhart.

Once upon a time, inside a miniature perfume bottle there was the Kingdom of the Frosty Mountains. Inside the Kingdom was a Royal Ballet School where ballerinas lived with their special talking animals. In each of these five beautiful books you will learn a new enchanted story about life within the kingdom. Watch Jessica Juniper face the struggles of her first day at school, find out why Crystal Coldwater runs away, discover how Laura-Bella saves her family farm, and how Valentina de la Frou stays at the school despite her mother wanting her to leave and also what is the shocking secret about Ursula of the Boughs? Find out all the answers in the Kingdom of the Frosty Mountains. Emerald Everhart was once a very famous ballerina. Many years ago, one of her admirers gave her a perfume bottle of frosted glass. While Emerald owned that bottle, her performances were the best they'd ever seen. Then, one day, the bottle was accidentally thrown away. From that moment, she never danced as well again. Emerald has now dedicated her life to finding that bottle and the kingdom within it. As she searches for the bottle, she remembers and shares the stories her admirer once told her in these five books.
